Lady Astraea Hawthorne
Lady Astraea (pronounced As-tray-uh) Hawthorne is Alastair's childhood best friend, and the Ravenkeeper of her kingdom of Ravenna. Even though she is blind, with her army of ravens and crows across the world, she can see through their eyes and keep an eye on all of her allies, and her enemies. In the game, Alastair can hear the sound of a raven cry in the distance, directing him to points of interest, and helping him if he gets lost.

Development sheet for Astraea, including a character turnaround and some outfit variations. For the back views of characters, if they wear a cape or some accessory that covers their back, I tend to remove it in favour of showing the back of an outfit.
Some blindfold and hair variations for Astraea. Whilst a hood and a veil seemed like an interesting option initially, I ended up being too big of a fan of her final hair look, so opted to have her hood down in future art of her.
Outfit variations. I always end up taking different pieces of my variations, such as the sleeve design on the right combined with the skirt style on the left.
Even though her outfit is incredibly monochromatic/ greyscale, I still needed to experiment with the different shades of grey, and how much contrast I wanted to include for her outfit. I ended up deciding on a quite dark outfit, with less drastic lights
